Welcome to Lovely Paws NC! We care deeply about the well-being of our puppies and the families they go home with. Please take a moment to carefully read through our policies before placing a deposit or purchasing a puppy.
By reserving or purchasing a puppy from Lovely Paws NC, you agree to all the policies outlined below.
We do not offer AKC registration for any of our puppies. Our program is focused on pet-only homes, not for show or breeding.
If you’d like to register your puppy, we recommend the Continental Kennel Club (CKC) as an option.
To reserve a puppy, we require a non-refundable deposit of $200. This deposit applies toward the total price and holds the puppy just for you.
8 weeks or older: Puppy will be held for up to 2 days.
Under 8 weeks: Puppy must be picked up by the go-home date or a mutually agreed-upon date.
If no deposit is made, the puppy remains available for other families.
If you don’t pick up your puppy by the agreed date:
A $35 per day boarding fee will apply (max of 5 days).
After 5 days of deposit date, the puppy will be re-listed and your deposit forfeited.
Weather delays are exempt from boarding fees.
To ensure fairness and efficiency for all clients, we require advance notice if you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment.
Failure to notify us within a reasonable timeframe may result in the denial of future appointment requests at our discretion.
We value your time and ours, and this policy helps us dedicate our attention to serious and committed families.
Delivery is available under the following terms:
You must pay 50% of the total puppy price + full delivery fee in advance.
Delivery fees vary by location – contact us for a quote.
💳 6. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following for deposits and delivery fees:
Zelle
Venmo
Apple Pay
Square
Final payments must be made in cash at pickup, unless discussed ahead of time.
Puppies priced $1,000 or more include a 1-year genetic health warranty.
Puppies priced $999 or less do not come with a warranty unless purchased separately for $200.
Puppies sold at a discounted/reduced price do not qualify for the warranty.
All puppies will come:
Up to date on vaccinations and deworming
With a health/vaccination record
We strongly recommend seeing your own vet within 24 hours of bringing your puppy home.
While we do our best to raise well-socialized, friendly puppies, temperament is influenced by environment, training, and the new owner’s care.
We cannot guarantee temperament or future behavior.
By purchasing or reserving a puppy, you consent to the use of your puppy’s photos or videos on our website and social media.
If you prefer not to have your puppy featured, just let us know in writing.
All deposits are non-refundable.
If you cancel, your deposit is forfeited.
If we cancel the sale for any reason, your deposit will be refunded in full.
If a customer is non-responsive after four attempts of communication and more than 72 hours without any reply following a deposit, we will understand that the customer no longer wishes to move forward with the adoption process. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited.
Only puppies listed under our "Available Puppies" section are for sale.
If a puppy isn’t listed, it is not available—please don’t inquire about every litter or past puppies.
To keep communication fair and manageable, we reserve the right to block or ban users who:
Repeatedly ask the same questions
Inquire about every litter with no intent to purchase
Spam us across multiple platforms
